Ted is the Founder/Developer of Performex®, Andina’s proprietary investment analytical system used to create multi-manager portfolios. This system effectively incorporates key investment concepts such as correlations to other managers and to markets as a whole as a means to maximize portfolio performance. Performex® is a critical Andina tool to identify investment managers/funds that work well in combinations to manage risk and produce absolute positive returns in full market cycles regardless of market conditions or direction. He is a member of Andina’s Investment Committee, participating in selecting managers and evaluating real-time investment portfolio options and reallocations.
Ted has previously advised numerous large institutional investors in manager selection and asset allocations including Canadian pension funds, university endowments, cooperatives and multi-employer retirement funds.
Other experience includes roles as Co-Founder and President of the Canadian Football League and Principal Shareholder/CEO of the Montreal Alouettes Football Club.
Ted was educated at Bishops College School, Lower Canada College, and McGill University, where he was president of his commerce class before leaving before graduation to manage the family business in investments.
